Mr. Millican

Mr. Millican has been an English teacher in the state of Alabama for the past 11 years. In 2019, he was named the teacher of the year for the Randolph County school system. He holds a B.A. in English from Jacksonville State University and an M.Ed. in secondary education from the University of Phoenix. Mr. Millican will be teaching multicultural literature and journalism for the 2023-24 academic school year. He is married to Laurissa Jones Millican (Evans High School c/o 2000). The two of them have a nine-year-old daughter, and they have full custody of their 17-year-old nephew. He and his family moved to Georgia over the summer, and he says he is very excited about the upcoming school year at Harlem High.
