Mr. Matthew Murrell

Hi, I am Mr./Deputy Matthew Murrell.  I am teaching the Law and Public Safety class.  I have thirteen years of law enforcement experience with the Columbia County Sheriff's Office. During my career, I worked in the Criminal Investigations Division, Patrol Division, and Special Operations Division. I earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Community Services from Georgia Southern University, and my Master of Public Administration, with a Minor in Justice Administration, from Troy University.  I am excited to be able to use my knowledge, training, and experience to teach the Law and Public Safety Class. This is my third year teaching at Harlem High School, and I am looking forward to a wonderful year.  I cannot wait to see continued growth with the Skills USA and Explorer Program.
