About Mrs. Hinton

Hello Bulldogs!

My name is Desiree Hinton, and I am a Geometry and Algebra Support teacher at Harlem High School. This is my 11th year teaching, and my 3rd year at Harlem High. I previously taught at Harlem Middle School, Thomson Middle, and Hancock Central High.

I am originally from Acworth, GA and I attended Georgia Southern University. During my time at GSU, I became a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.  My husband Ben and I have been married for 13 years and have five amazing children: Roland, Eli, Cora Mae, Rosaleigh, and Eleanor.  Roland is in 8th grade, Eli is in 7th grade, Cora Mae is in 5th grade, Rosaleigh is 4, and Eleanor is 2.

In addition to spending time with my family, I enjoy a variety of hobbies such as swimming, photography, and watching my children play sports.  Roland and Eli love to play football and Cora Mae enjoys cheering.  My family loves to travel and especially enjoy going to the beach during the summer.
