Mission Statement

The mission of the Harlem High School Athletic Department is to provide student-athletes a variety of sports to teach life skills that include: academic excellence, discipline, responsibility, teamwork, dedication, and fair-play.

The Harlem High School Athletic Department will provide leadership, resources, and support to ensure all student-athletes receive the finest athletic experience possible. Within this athletic experience it is our belief that weight training is an integral part of this process.

All student-athletes who participate in athletics will be required to participate in the Harlem High School Strength and Conditioning Program. We feel to properly maximize each student-athletes full potential and safety that their involvement in this program is vital.

We provide all of our athletes with a safe and effective well-rounded program built around safety, proper lifting techniques, and performance.

The parents play a vital role in this process through encouragement and motivation. This will help ensure that each student – athlete will maximize their full potential and the player development mission statement is carried out.
