- Work with a partner for peer editing.
- Have your partner read your paper and fill out a “Yes Test”
- I strongly encourage partners to be critical of one another’s work - nobody is perfect, and no one should have a perfect paper.

- If you cannot find a partner in your class, feel free to have another peer or parent grade/review your work with the “Yes Test.”

I am not uploading a new template here since you should have the template done correctly from the rough draft. If you did not complete the rough draft, go back to that assignment and use the template provided there.

Final Product (Outcome): You will create a Middle Eastern Literature Slideshow.  Review each attached Author Station.  There are FIVE total.  Create a slide for every station (you may use Google Slides, Canva, Slides2go...). Each slide will have a a.)summary of what you learned about the author and/or culture AND  b.) the impact or connection you have to the literature you read.  Finally, using your own culture, create an c.) imitation of the author's work. Each of the links contains examples of the author's work and questions to help you create an imitation. In addition, on each slide, use one image per slide from "Writing and Literature: Islamic Period" in your presentation. 
 
At each station, complete the activities on that specific web page. (For example, after opening Wajma Ahmady's slide, complete the activities provided. Pay close attention to her writing. Remember, part of the assignment is to imitate each author's writing. This is a vital component of your slideshow, and it will be used when you complete the product for your own culture. 
After completing each station, complete individual slides with a summary of what was learned about the author, an impact/connection and an imitation of the author's work. In addition, the final link contains photographs/images. Choose one for each slide. This image should help tell the story of the Middle East. 

The final slide in your slideshow will be about the diary entry or document read that spoke to their individual souls. Make sure you can explain how it spoke to you.

The final two links are of various documents, diaries, and images to be used in your slideshow and presentation.

Note:  Your final slideshow should contain SIX slides, one for each author and one for your diary entry/document slide.

A rough draft of this assignment is due on November 2, 2022. You will need to have five full pages, a Title Page & References page, and in-text citations.

Use the template provided to create your Cover Letter and Resume.  I have uploaded pictures of Sample Resumes in the Senior Project Documents section.

1. You need to find SEVEN-TEN peer-reviewed sources for your research paper. I recommend using the SIRS Researcher site and Galileo. Both of these are provided by the school. The username for SIRS is GA2094, and the password is 30809. The password for Galileo is terms. Both links are provided on this assignment.
2. Read through some articles about your topic. If you have a trending topic, there may be some research statements about your topic available.
3. In this assignment, "Create" a Google Doc.
4. On the Google Doc, add 7-10 article LINKS that you can refer back to for your Annotated Bibliography.
5. For each link, find the author's name, article or book name, journal information, publication date, and sometimes page numbers and add this information under each article. (An example is provided for you)
